Position Objective:
The part-time Administrative Assistant will support the business (ERP) system functions, filing, copying, customer service, and other duties as assigned.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Perform data entry and maintenance functions to support the ERP system.  This will include but is not limited to: data entry of production time, , sales orders, and production jobs; issuing raw material;  and eventually performing job closing process.
  • Provide support to Human Resources for copying,  transposing reports or correspondences, collating, special projects, etc.
  • Provide backup for customer service and order entry as assigned, including answering customer or vendor questions.
  • Assist in preparation of any periodic meetings.
  • Order and distribute food for management or guests.
  • Maintain confidentiality when involved with sensitive documents and business information.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Outlook and have the ability to learn company specialized software programs.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, multi-task, and shift priorities quickly.
  • Maintain confidential information, acting in a discreet and professional manner when necessary.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences and memos.
  • Basic letter writing, proofreading, knowledge of proper grammar usage, basic filing, and  proper telephone etiquette skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
