Human Resources Coordinator

Role and Responsibilities: 
  • Process bi-weekly transfer of payroll data to corporate payroll department.
  • Assist with paperwork pertaining to training for managers, supervisors and employees in areas including, but not limited to, talent development compensation, benefits, safety, security and compliance.
  • Maintain employee personnel files (creating and filing).
  • Assist with recruitment and interview process by scheduling interviews and verifying references.
  • Generate offer and term letters, submit manual check request to corporate payroll and close out terminated employee files.
  • Coordinate in new hire orientations and onboarding.
  • Conduct new hire benefits orientation.
  • Assist with data entry and maintain HRIS system including the recording of employee development records.
  • Distributing performance review packets to General Manager/Department Managers, monitoring and ensuring evaluations are done in a timely manner (i.e. 30 days, 60-days and yearly on employee anniversary hire date).
  • Maintain HR SharePoint and assist in maintaining career development program and performance management.
  • Maintain and process all unemployment notices and potential charges in a timely efficient manner.
  • Perform customer service function by answering employee request and questions.
  • Review benefits with employees, forward forms, cancellation or changes to Corporate Benefits office.
  • Responsible monitoring and updating I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification log and maintain the necessary retention of I-9 forms.
  • Maintain ISO 9001 standards by completing new hire check off form and entering employee training into database.
  • Participate on committees, special projects, and seeks additional responsibilities.

Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The noise level in other area of the company may exceed this level. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; sit; use finger to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
